SMASHED PERI PERI POTATOES

Important notes before proceeding:
- This recipe especially calls for BABY POTATOES.
- For this recipe, I prefer you use an air-fryer if you have one. An oven will but, an air-fryer will yield the best results.

Detailed Procedure:
- Start by boiling baby potatoes until they're fork-tender. I boiled the baby potatoes for about 10 minutes(About 2 whistles for pressure cooking).
- While the potatoes are getting boiled, make the peri-peri spice mix. For the PERI PERI spice mix recipe, TAP HERE.
- Once the spice mix is ready, line a baking tray using parchment paper and pre-heat the oven.
- Add one tablespoon of the peri-peri mix in a small bowl and one tablespoon of oil. You'll need this mixture to add flavor to the potatoes, make them crispy and prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the baking tray.
- Once the potatoes are ready, drain water and let the potatoes cool for a while. Once cooled, gently smash the potatoes on the tray using the bottom of any bowl. If the potatoes start sticking to the back of the tray, dip the bowl in the oil mixture and try smashing the potatoes again.
- Keep a significant distance between the potatoes. And brush them with the oil mixture. You can drizzle the mixture and then give a gentle massage to baby P.
- Bake for about 25 Minutes at 180ºC if using an Air-fryer
- Bake for about 30-35 Mins at 180ºC if using an Oven.
- TADDAAA...your Smashed PERI-PERI Potatoes are ready. Serve them with the most important ingredient...you know what it is right?....yes...LOVE...!!!

Quick Procedure:
- Boil baby P. Don’t forget the salt.
- Preheat the oven.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Get the spice mix ready. Add oil and spice mix in a bowl.
- Drain boiled potatoes.
- Using the back of a bowl, gently mash baby p on the baking tray.
- Brush the potatoes with the oil mixture.
- Bake for about 25 Minutes at 180ºC if using an Air-fryer
- Bake for about 30-35 Mins at 180ºC if using an Oven.
- Taadaaa your Vegan Peri-peri Smashed Potatoes are ready. Serve them hot and top them up with the most important ingredient…yes…LOVE..!!!
