Protein rich Vegan kheer

Kheer is an Indian dessert made with cow milk, sugar, dry fruits, rice, and cardamom powder. Growing up, I used to love love love Kheer a lot!!

But, after I turned vegan, I couldn’t have Kheer until I figured out a recipe to make vegan Kheer that resembles Rabdi(Another Indian Dessert) as well. This Vegan Kheer is a must-try recipe and I promise you, you’ll come back and use the same recipe again.

  •  * You can use any milk of choice
  • *In place of Brown Rice, use White Rice.
  • ***Marked Ingredients are optional

Quick Procedure:

  1. Boil Brown Rice.
  2. Heat mylk in a pan (7-8 mins).
  3. Add Cooked Brown Rice to the Mylk with Sifted Soy Isolate.
  4. Keep on stirring. 
  5. Add powdered Sweetener(I used Mishri).
  6. Stir again. 
  7. Add dried fruits, nuts, and soaked Kesar or Saffron Strands. 
  8. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Taadaaa your Vegan Kheer is ready. Serve it hot and top it all up with the most important ingredient…yes…LOVE..!!!
